While some people think AI is going to replace them, the important thing to remember is that AI is a tool, not a person. All tools need to have a human at least monitor the performance, and AI isn’t any different. You also don’t have the same personality in AI generated copy as you get with the personal touch of an actual person. Take a look at the paragraphs below. This means that while AI can be a great asset to marketing efforts, it can’t replace the human element of marketing. AI surfs the web to find information, and we all know not everything you read online is true. So you need a human do double check what the AI has created, and make sure it matches your brand’s voice. Here are some ideas on how to use AI in your marketing strategy that will help your creativity without replacing you. 

  1. Use it for generating ideas for captions. If you’ve hit a creative block you can use it to help you spark some ideas. Then take that idea and personalize it to fit your brand. With the example below, we took the AI caption and turned it into “Fall in love with our beautiful Valentine’s Day bouquets with your choice of roses, tulips, lilies, and more! Order now and show your sweetheart you love them bunches!”

AI is definitely changing how we create content, and to some extent how we look at our productivity and output, but we think keeping the human element in all of your brand’s writing is vital to staying true to your identity, and recognizable to your audience.
