Devon earned his BAA in Media Production with an emphasis in Animation and a minor in Marketing from Wichita State University. His creative background brings a unique edge to everything he does, whether he’s building out content calendars, analyzing engagement metrics, or creating fresh campaigns.
What is a professional accomplishment you’re proud of?
My group within the Wichita State University Student AMA Chapter was awarded Best Digital Marketing Campaign (Nonprofit) at the 2025 AMA Marketing Awards. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree at WSU, and I now have a fun job in Social Media Marketing.
Who is someone who influences you?
The people I work with. Can’t beat the good vibes and work ethic!
What inspires you?
People. People really form a solid foundation for what we believe is possible, and it is always fun getting to interact with new people.
What do you like most about your position?
I like that I get to be involved with the planning of social media posts. Figuring out what works for the client and their brand while also finding ways to get audiences excited is fun.
If you could work with any brand in the world, who would it be?
I would work with a brand that is willing to embrace some fun ideas. Jelly Belly has a lot of potential because of the type of products they sell.
How do you keep up with changes in your corner of marketing?
I keep up with changes in my corner of marketing by researching other accounts that I like. Copywriting is influenced by strategy, so understanding where to position accounts in the media landscape is important.
