Donte’s Thoughts:
There’s something powerful about a campaign that still feels relevant decades later, and Apple’s “1984” Super Bowl commercial does exactly that. This ad made a statement about the future of technology and individuality.

“Disrupt, challenge, and redefine.”
What stands out to me most is how boldly Apple positioned itself against conformity. At a time when computers were seen only as corporate machines, this marketing campaign reframed technology as something empowering and personal. The visual of someone breaking through a dystopian world was symbolic of what technological innovation should do: disrupt, challenge, and redefine.
And honestly, there’s a nostalgia factor that hits for me. As someone who works in tech, campaigns like this remind me why I love what I do. Technology isn’t just about systems and code; it’s about the stories we tell through it.
That’s All, Folks!
