As a first-generation Latino with family roots in El Salvador, Diego brings a unique cultural lens and personal drive to his work. Diego was born and raised in Emporia, Kansas, where he also studied at Emporia State University. After earning his BFA in Graphic Design, he moved to Wichita to begin his creative career. With one year of professional graphic design experience under his belt, Diego is already making an impact as a designer in the marketing industry. He’s passionate about storytelling through design and loves creating visuals that are both beautiful and purposeful.
What is a personal accomplishment you’re proud of?
I was the first person in my immediate family to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Who is someone who influences you?
My parents, especially after seeing them sacrifice to provide opportunities for my siblings and me.
What inspires you?
The idea of creating something that will live on for years, that I can look back on and revisit.
What are your favorite websites/apps/software/tools you use for work?
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
What do you like most about your position?
Being able to bring to life the creative vision for multiple brands.
If you could work with any brand in the world, who would it be?
I would work with Ralph Lauren (Clothing/Marketing) or Marvel.
