Sydney has 3 years of experience in the world of marketing. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Truman State University, majoring in English with minors in Biology and Environmental Science, and spent an exchange semester at Roehampton University in London. She then earned a Master’s degree at Kansas State University, where she majored in English and obtained a certificate in Technical Writing. Sydney enjoys having creative freedom in her work and thrives on exploring diverse and engaging channels to connect with audiences. Social media content creation allows her to blend her love for writing with effective marketing strategies.
Outside the office, Sydney enjoys hiking, playing fetch with her cat, and reading Stephen King books. She’s also a big fan of horror movies and is currently working her way through the A24 catalog.
Paula’s experience in operations spans 12 years and multiple industries. After attending the University of Central Missouri, where she played volleyball, Paula went to Texas Christian University and worked as the graduate assistant for TCU’s volleyball team while earning her Master’s Degree. Paula is on the Alzheimer’s Association Central and Western Kansas Board of Directors and serves as Chair for The Longest Day Committee.
Outside of work, Paula enjoys traveling to new places, watching sports, and spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their two children.
Micah has 2+ years of experience in the creative industry and has been part of our team for 2 years. Her main areas of focus include market research, web strategy, user experience, and web design, but she enjoys wearing other hats on occasion, including SEO, web development, and collaborating on strategy in other areas of marketing. Micah is passionate about creating elegant design solutions that not only meet clients’ needs but focus on the end user.
Outside the office, Micah loves exploring new corners of the world and doing any and all things outside — hiking, camping, gardening, enjoying live music, and sipping on wine to name a few. At home, you can find Micah playing interior designer and using her eye for design to complete endless DIY projects. She spends a lot of time with her friends and family and is a mom of one and a dog mom of two.
Chrissy has 14 years of marketing and design experience and has owned Hexcode Marketing for 7 years. Her favorite thing about marketing is watching analytics shift as strategies are adjusted. She is passionate about learning, building relationships, and helping companies thrive. Chrissy holds degrees in Graphic Design and Political Science from Wichita State University.
When she’s not being a girl boss, Chrissy is probably at one of her four boys’ sporting events. She’s also heavily involved in the Wichita community where she serves on the Downtown Wichita Board of Directors. Some of her hobbies include playing volleyball, watching college sports, reading John Grisham, and forcing her husband to travel and try new things.
Kaleigh has 6+ years of design experience. She came to Hexcode as a graphic designer and grew into the role of creative director after diving into marketing and all its facets. She loves being a mentor, helping businesses flourish, and learning from others. Her interest in design and the creative industry comes from her background in art and being a self-proclaimed pop culture freak since childhood. She has a background in print with 10 years of experience in pre-press and production in newspapers and print shops, which led to her obsession with registration, dot gain, and all the fine details. Kaleigh enjoys using visual communication to solve problems creatively. This Spring, she will earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing from Wichita State University. In 2023, Kaleigh won the Wichita Business Journal’s Women Who Lead in Marketing Award.
Kaleigh is a mother of two and a dog mom of three. She loves to travel and take in all things art: shows, film, architecture, and music.
Elise turned what began as a hobby into her future career. She has a year of professional experience in design and is striving every day to learn more. She began working in design at a young age, freelancing on small digital illustration projects. This quickly developed into a passion for design, and now, no one is safe from typography trivia! She recently graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Wichita State University. Her current focus is on a thoughtful approach to design and organization, expressive illustration, and engaging design.
Elise believes that creative expression is an adventure every day. Outside the office, you can find her playing with her tortie kitten, Roach, earning her spot as certified “Playlist Guru,” and exploring a variety of art — from illustration to fiber arts. Elise is a wizard with Illustrator and crochet hooks!
Andres has more than 2 years of experience in social media management. He interned with the Office of Student Success at Wichita State University and has worked as the social media manager for A1 Barbershop. Andres loves creating content, specifically short-form videos, for business and personal social media platforms. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music with a minor in communications during the summer of 2024. During his studies, Andres did research for the National McNair Scholars program titled “How Reggaeton Artists Use Color on Social Media to Establish a Brand.”
Outside of work, Andres loves running and playing sports as well as watching soccer, basketball, and football—he’s a self-proclaimed “sports nerd.” He also enjoys traveling the world, with Mexico, Honduras, and Chicago being his favorite destinations.
Brandon has been involved in the sales world for 8 years, working with clients of various sizes, in multiple states, and across a wide range of industries, such as construction, oil & gas, and retail. Brandon attended Wichita State University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with focused studies in entrepreneurship and management. During his education, he gained practical experience working full-time at one of the largest logistics companies in the country. Brandon thrives in business development, finding joy in cultivating business growth and building lasting customer relationships.
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys traveling as often as possible, going to concerts, and trying new craft beer. He also spends as much time as he can with his nieces and nephew.
Brynn’s passion for design began with a love of animation and video editing, which led her to discover graphic design. She loves utilizing and combining different creative interests to make innovative and eye-catching graphics. She currently attends Butler Community College as a Game Design and Digital Media student. She has 2+ years of Adobe knowledge and experience and sees every day as an opportunity to learn something new and grow as a graphic designer.
In her free time, Brynn enjoys exploring her hobbies of photography, reading, and creating fun composite graphics. Plus, she’s a self-proclaimed movie fanatic.
Donte has 10+ years of experience in website development. Prior to becoming a web developer, he worked in HR in the Army. Donte is passionate about learning and growing as a developer and loves to push boundaries. Donte’s driving force is taking care of the client.
When he’s not developing a client’s site, Donte loves spending time with his wife, Kayla, and his son, Donte. In his free time, you can find Donte watching Anime, playing Pokemon Go, or teaching his son to follow in his footsteps (to be an expert in all things Spiderman).
Sarah has been in the social media/marketing industry for 15 years. She found a love for social media and connecting with others digitally and found her passion for marketing from there. Along with sharing her love of marketing with her clients, Sarah teaches at Butler Community College and helps the next generation of social media marketers learn the ins and outs of the industry. She also serves as the Director of Social Media for the board of the American Marketing Association’s Wichita Chapter.
When she’s not working, you can find her teaching dance at a local studio. She is married and has 4 kids, with 3 of them grown and on their own. She also loves musicals (when she was in college she was a musical theater major), photography, cooking, and playing with her 3 dogs.
Erica’s love of people, storytelling, and grammar comes in handy when writing captivating content that relays an organization’s message clearly and effectively. Before entering the business world, she taught at the high school level for 5 years where her interest in marketing was first sparked through running student clubs and events. Erica has one year of marketing experience, and she specializes in writing content for websites, blogs, and social media. Each day presents an opportunity to tap into her creative nature and bring new ideas to life for clients via wordsmithing. Erica earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Emporia State University.
Outside the office, you can typically find her curating a playlist, spending time with her family, visiting a brewery with friends, or curling up with her dog and cat—Romeo and Finn—reading or watching a rom-com.
