A Marketing Strategy to Bring People Together
Coming Together for a Cure is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that began in 2008 as a grassroot fundraiser after co-founder Ryan Benton became the first person in the world with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) to be successfully treated with mesenchymal stem cell therapy. Motivated to help others access this life-changing treatment, CTFAC was born.
Today, the organization is dedicated to raising awareness, funding research, and supporting families affected by DMD and other rare diseases.

Project Scope
As a small nonprofit, CTFAC needed a cohesive and professional brand presence to amplify its mission, reach new audiences, and build lasting partnerships. The organization needed a marketing partner who could help them tell the story of their co-founder and bring awareness to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
They sought a partner who could aid them in reaching families battling Duchenne and provide those families with valuable information, resources, and hope. From brand clarity and content strategy to event promotion and donor engagement, CTFAC required a comprehensive approach to grow its awareness and impact on a national and global scale.


Event Marketing
We supported CTFAC with event marketing for Concert in the Country, their largest annual fundraising event, which drew crowds from across the Midwest. The event amplified their mission and gave attendees an unforgettable experience with live performances from top country artists.
The event was further elevated with impactful print and event marketing materials. With consistent, mission-driven storytelling, CTFAC has reinforced its role as a leading voice in advocacy for rare disease treatment.
Branding
We collaborated closely with CTFAC to refine and strengthen its brand identity across all platforms. Our team developed compelling messaging that clearly communicated the organization’s mission and the importance of access to stem cell therapy


Website Design & Development
Our team wrote, designed, and developed a website to better engage supporters, share CTFAC’s story, and drive donations. Blogs were created to support SEO efforts and educate visitors on the latest research, medical advancements, and how to seek help.
We even launched a podcast to educate the public, elevate community voices, and establish CTFAC as a thought leader in the rare disease and regenerative medicine space.
Social Media Management
We also executed a targeted social media strategy that told the story of why CTFAC was started, highlighted their presence in the Duchenne community, and built stronger connections with their audience.

We developed a digital ad strategy focused on reaching families affected by DMD and increasing awareness of the resources available to them.
